Dinkheads Policies
01. Introduction
Anyone can read our news articles, forum, and comments, but you must register if you want to post here. By posting on Dinkheads, you agree to observe the following rules. If you have any problems registering or posting, please e-mail us at admin@dinkheads.com.
02. General Etiquette
Conduct yourself in a civil manner. No insults, name calling, profanities, or other offensive remarks. Avoid naked links that do not contain an explanation or description. Avoid the gratuitous use of capital letters or other annoying formatting. Do not advertise products or services or otherwise solicit business or website traffic. Do not post the same comment more than once. Do not post about topics that are unrelated to pickleball such as politics or religion. Do not create an offensive username. Do not post offensive or disturbing images. Limit quotations of external material to the absolute minimum. When quoting external material, provide a citation and, if possible, a link to the original source. When posting a new thread to our forum, select the appropriate subforum and use a meaningful title.
03. Moderation Procedure
Moderators may lock or delete a post, comment, or thread, and may move threads from one subforum to another at their discretion. Some comments may be placed into a queue for review by a moderator before they are published. Members who repeatedly violate our rules will be suspended or banned. If you are unhappy with a moderator’s actions, you may appeal by sending an email to admin@dinkheads.com. This is the only acceptable way to challenge a moderator’s decision. You may not criticize the moderator in our Forums.
04. Copyright Policy
Dinkheads does not own your posts or comments. You do. You can republish your posts and comments anywhere you like. You can edit your posts if you wish, provided you are a member in good standing. You grant Dinkheads the right to display your posts and comments without compensating you. You grant other members permission to quote your posts in whole or part without compensating you. You grant Dinkheads the right to edit or delete your comments and posts if we think you have violated our policies. You grant Dinkheads the right to convert references to products or services into compensated text links such as affiliate links. The terms of our copyright policy may only be changed after 14 days’ notice is given in the Forum Issues and Administration subforum.
