Eye protection recommendations?

Thanks to our pickleball pro friend and coach Joe Frasca, we have made eye protection a must-have on the court. I've tried a number of different options, brand name and generic, mostly found on Amazon.com.

One of my friends wears lens-less plastic frames that you can find at the drugstore. She picked up the tip from another pickleball pro, who doesn't like lenses because they fog up.

Others use Home Depot-style protective goggles or even lab goggles.

For those who wear some time of eye protection, what works for you?

Also, do you like clear or tinted? Strap or no strap? I have a small face and flat nose, so my glasses often slip, but I don't want to wear a strap (too distracting/constricting).

So glad to see you advocating for the use of eyewear Michelle! For the past couple years I have just been using yellow lens protective glasses from a hardware store. Recently, however, I switched to the Gearbox yellow lens glasses and I do believe I can see better out of them.

@joe-frasca Thanks, Joe! We are spreading the eye protection gospel because of you. I actually knocked Jesse's glasses off during drilling this morning with my rapidly improving backhand volley LOL. We were both very grateful he was wearing them!

I wear glasses but sometimes use a pair of racquet ball safety frames that fit over my flasses.  No lenses, no fogging.
