In tournaments if my partner gets so mad they quit trying.

In rec play, courts that do not rotate when they know players are waiting.

This is one of the most annoying things ever.

My pet peeve, is when a person is on the other side of the net and near the base line, while being across the court from the ball. The person who is receiving the ball calls it out and that person argues it was in 🤦🏻‍♀️ We have one player who does this all the time and argues! I told him” it was my call and if he keep arguing, I was walking off the court.”  This guys is so bad he Is never invited to play with a group, but shows up 🤷🏻‍♀️

Locally, we have a clique (group) who think they are the best players in the area (actually 3.0+ to maybe just barely 4.0 players). They have basically staked a claim to certain days at a the big local private club (one of only two places to play here in the winter this year), and us peasants are not allowed to play on the courts at these "special" times (two of four days weekly). The clique was started by an employee at this private club. I cannot understand why the club mgmt allowed it, but they are strange that way. You are only allowed to play with this clique by direct invitation from him. This club charges $900+/yr/person (expensive for this area) for general membership. There are 4 to 6 times the "basic" players as there are in this clique group, so we all pay the price in court availability. Many of us have distanced ourselves from everyone in this group, and I personally think this type of exclusionary behavior in pickleball is a really bad thing.

In my short time of playing pickleball at the end of 2019 with many many years of tennis, I have never witnessed so many incorrect "out" calls. Whether it happened while I was playing doubles (even by my own partner) or on the sideline waiting to play, it has happened frequently.

I give the people making the calls the benefit of the doubt. Most of these players are over 60. Our eyesight is not what it used to be. At the end of the day, it was all for fun.

My personal peeve is tennis players adjacent to our play (on taped) courts griping about the inherent noise of PB. In time, tennis will likely be greatly reduced in popularity because of shifting demographics.
