The top 100 pro pickleball players in North America will descend on the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in two weeks for the PPA’s Foot Solutions Grand Slam (previously the Mesa Grand Slam). It’s a week-long tournament at a top-notch facility that boasts “17 brand new professionally surfaced, world-class courts, including an expansive Center Court with a 400-person capacity.” Wowzers.

According to the PPA, the $70,000 purse is the largest pickleball tournament purse in Arizona history. Fans will be allowed to attend, though numbers are limited. Tickets are $10 and COVID rules will be enforced. Looks like it will be an awesome tournament.
