World Pickleball Championship begins tomorrow; will pros use the drop serve?
USA vs the rest of the world.

February 2, 2021

The World Pickleball Championships will begin tomorrow at the beautiful Pickleplex facility in Punta Gorda, Fla., Wednesday’s action features competition between US pros such as Ben Johns, Tyson McGuffin, Irina Tereschenko, and Zane Navratil (“Team USA”) and the rest of the world (“Team World”), including Simone Jardim, Catherine Parenteau, Steve Deakin, and Dekel Bar. View the schedule here.

Some have predicted that USA Pickleball’s new serve rule, which allows drop serves, will have a big impact on professional pickleball — particularly in singles. We are eager to see whether that is borne out in tomorrow’s games.
